The Golfview was constructed by the Roman Catholic Mission in 1927 in the beautiful hills of Pachmarhi. This property was then purchased by Dr. Miss Lactitia Luzia Cornelia de Menezes in 1948. Later, Mr D. P. Taori who had a great interest and took care of the property from 1956, with extraordinary concern. He gave a new definition to THE GOLF VIEW in terms of plantation and land development. One can easily have a glimpse of lawns and the drive way developed by him in the present land scape of the property. His personal diary, writing table, rocking chair, easy chairs, dressing tables, cabinets and other furniture are retained in the resort and all these together give the essence of a rich colonial class in the resort.
In 2002 this property was purchased by Mr. Praveen Maheshwari (Managing Director of Golf View Club and Resorts Pvt. Ltd) who gave the property its identity and was converted into a Heritage Hill Resort in 2007 due to his continuous efforts and passion for the natural beauty and the old world charm of the houses.
With the consecutive success in hospitality sector, Golf View is proud to be one of the essential heritage resorts in the beautiful land Pachmarhi- the Queen of Satpuras. Our continuous effort of keeping the customers happy and satisfied never went in trivial. We are grateful to our Government who motivated and honoured our service with prestigious award of the Best Heritage Hotels in MP by MP State government on 2014. Our head concern - It was been honoured as the Best Heritage hotel Chain consecutively on 2012, 2013 and 2014.
We are so happy to announce that Golf View is again awarded with the Tripadvisor Excellence Award for 2015. This is the third time Golf View has been awarded with Excellence award. It was received in 2012, 2014 and now again in 2015.
